Space: a dining area in the Netherlands

A few weeks ago I came across a house tour on The Style Files that lived up to my idea of a dream home (bright + tasteful ethnic elements). The house is in Laren in the Netherlands, built in 1913 as an atelier for a painter. This is the dining area of the current owner, who also happens to be a painter. The harmony and balance of this space captivate me.

  1. The light pouring in through the window and the beautiful peonies make me dream of spring (less than three months until then, yay!).

  2. Love the mix of rustic and bohemian in this dining room. Plus I adore the abundance of natural light in this space. I am thinking of how ideal it would be for photographing there LOL. Happy Tuesday!
