stillness

Let me give you some advice for this weekend: Keep your TV and your mobile off. Read the book you have been wanting to read. Write a personal note to a friend. Work in your garden if you have one. Buy everything you need for that recipe you have been meaning to try for months, make it and enjoy every bite. Embrace stillness.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND DEAR READERS AND BLOG FRIENDS

  2. Wonderful, Lisa! And you know what: there is this pile of books and magazines that I got the past days and this long weekend is just the right time to dig into them and enjoy quite moments in my home! Have a happy one, too!

  3. Good advice, Lisa! I'll be switching off (most) of my electronics anyway, what with studying for my exams. It's so easy to be distracted by the internet and texting etc! Too addictive! Have a gorgeous weekend. x

  7. It's like I'm reading my own words. :) I made ice cream today! I haven't tasted it yet, but I will let you know. I've combined three recipes and I hope it tastes as delicious as it smells and looks. :)

  8. That's indeed a great advice! We should think about the importance & value of 'stillness' more often! I'm so happy that we can finally enjoy such wonderful weather, that's the best way to enjoy the city of Lux!

  12. I hope you did what you advised us to do! We escaped to Hayk's parents' lake house...and my mobile/computer remained shut off almost the entire time. Success!! And I let my future mother in law do all the baking...there were cakes galore and I ate much more than my waistline permits...oh well! :)
